Just trying to get an idea I'm really starting to learn a lot about watches but I'm going to probably get these on Monday. The square one is 14 K gold filled. Longines, The other three are 14 K. I met him on my trip up to Orlando and he doesn't live too far for me but I'm planning on stopping back, he wants me to stop on the way back home. And what's cool is he gave me the code to his community gate, the address to his house where is going to be at, his email address and wants me to call him first thing Monday morning. And it probably helps that his son is friends with his son but I didn't know that at the time just found out from talking! He said one guy left his number and offer him $250 for all 4 watches. I told him I would at least triple that if not more but I wanted to do some research on them first. And guess what I have no reception where I'm at Hardly! thanks for your help!

Here are the pictures.

I am not sure what they are worth but I would pay up to $500 for my personal collection.

It all really depends.... Do they work? You can't sell them on those bands, you'd have to buy leather which you can get for $20-30 each. To get them serviced it costs like minimum of $100 each. That gold filled watch may not be worth it at all tbh. I think I'd be comfortable paying $350 for the 14k and in the end you may have to settle for gold scrap... The last watch with the diamonds however could be worth more not sure. Watches are very confusing honestly, I have a 14k longines I bought for $50 paid $200 to get it working order, could maybe sell it for minimum of $350...

I just bought a 14k Movado sub-sea for $150 w/box and papers. Watch keeps accurate time and crystal is clean. So I would be in the $400-500 for all

Depends on if you have buyers! You can have a $700 watch, ask $500, and have no interest and take $250. The books on some of this stuff are deceiving. Some are over valued in the books. I guess your best option is an average of sold prices on Ebay. Little differences can make a huge difference in value.
A lot of guys that deal in watches, either buy them at or below Gold, or already have a potential buyer. Unless it's something really special. The bottom one has writing on the case, unless it's a famous person? It hurts it. The bands don't help.Do they work? Are they accurate? What do the movements look like? Is there any rust? etc.....

I think your way over shooting it at $750! If you have already committed to that number "or more!" Then your kind of already stuck in that range.:dontknow:

Unless your buying for your collection and not wanting to buy for resale? I always go by what it's worth to me to have it! Which is? cheap as possible!:laughing7: He has an offer of $250, Offer $300

40-50 bucks tops. But I'd toss the last one as its ugly lookin. Just sayin is all

I'd be a buyer based on scrap prices & possibly something extra for the Native American band. Without having them in hand I can't give an exact number. Based on similar watches I've had I wouldn't be anywhere near $750. If I had to guess I'd pay somewhere between $3-500. There are too many things that could go wrong for me to pay a premium for "watch" value.

It's a nice collection from what I see. I can't see paying $750. for all those would be all that bad if they run. I believe on a good day you could sell them all total for $900. to $1000. and maybe more? That mystery dial Longines is quite collectible and those at time could sell for $800. up, even with that mono imo, but then I haven't been selling any watches lately. I've been holding on to them for some reason? I'm buying a lot of stuff and procrastinating on selling any of it.

I'm not a watch person. If I had a million dollars I would still wear a $20 one.

No I would not buy them to keep them. I would buy them to resell them.

They were all running and look like they were well-kept. He said that he found them in his fathers safe and doesn't remember him ever wearing them. They all worked pretty good. From what I can tell. I stopped at his house today, he's in the process of moving a lot of stuff to his house. He wants me to come back on Thursday. But I mentioned about $600 for them.

It's been three months. I got a phone call and an appointment to go back and look at these watches again tomorrow. The Gold Longines with the diamonds has my name all over it. He has some other stuff too. Like a whole house full...
