Steve, why do you get so defensive all the time... folks are just trying to either a... help ya..b... show u another side of looking at things, c...show you proof of whatever arrowheads... so kindly explain to me why your so defensive all the time or is this just normally how you are.. I just dont know at this point with all the arguing over everything.

Who cares what someone "names" that point. It's killer to say the least, and why would you put a one of a kind like that up for sale is beyond my minds thinking abilities ???

Hundreds if not thousands of points and artifacts are sold on line weekly. I buy some of mine from a gentleman in Texas; and they are some killer points. They all come with a lifetime guarantee of authenticity and he has a reputation above reproach when it comes to artifacts.

I bought an 100% intact waterbottle made from the bladder of a grisly bear that had been covered in clay and allowed to dry, has a buffalo horn top, wrapped in leather and has bone fettishes, and a bird whistle, the sale also included an iron axe still on the original handle and a bowl. All were found together in New Mexico. It was documented by Univ of New Mexico at over 400 years old. I didn't question why he sold it, only happy he did.

I paid $700 for the 3 pieces 13 years ago, and the last offer I turned down was $3000 for the bottle alone, and that was over 7 years ago.....

If it is documented by Dwain Rogers he is one of the top experts in the field.................

Perhaps I'm out of line here. But correct me if I'm wrong. There's an old saying- that it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Another one is-- it's not what you say, but what people hear.

With this is mind, regardless of the quality of the advice, I'm doubting anyone want to hear the equivilant of:
Hey! By the way- you're in idiot and I know more than you, period. No question about it. So listen to me.

Might gain a listener. Might not.

all in the delivery.

HH all-- and cheers.

p.s. strikingly beautiful point.

I would like to have an Indian axe still on it's shaft.
The bladder thing would only get tore up by my boy. But the axe...definitely.
Can I see a picture?
Please?

Also, killer point in post one.

If you check the Indian Artifact websites for the accepted authenticators they recognized for authenticating artifacts, you will find Dwain Rogers listed with the likes of Greg Perino, Bill Jackson and Tom Davis. I assume you have heard of the others................................

Not even close.....................It originates from western Illinois, close to the Cahokia Mounds area which would put it in the age range of 650-1400 A.D.....................It is a mourning flute, a tune can be played on it......The figure has cuts on the arms........
