i dont know who put them out but maybe late 70s early 80s some company put out a set (never heard why)
with a penny, nickel, dime, quarter and kennedy half enclosed in plastic all that size
so it was a mini sample of 5 US coins - dont remember their purpose

That little penny reminds me of a 1/10th oz gold coin that a broker gave me as a bonus when I bought some gold & silver a few years back. It's gold, gorgeous to look at, but it's so tiny, lol.
