We had a torrential downpour yesterday, which sucked because we had a few yards of concrete laid out, and had to finish it under an impromptu tent, but it gave my best field a really good washing. I went out there after work today to see what would turn up. I found a very interesting point, I’ve never seen one like it, and can’t find it’s match on projectilepoints.net. It might be a common type with a reworked tip I’m thinking? Also found a broken piece of what I think was a gorget , got a broken Thebes but the tip has a very reworked look to it, also a cool little stemmed point. Lots of broken stuff too. 9F545308-B860-4105-AB7B-762D8216D6AB.webpFA000439-A881-412B-95E1-71F92A68E13C.webp1E0D87E0-C4DC-4D1C-8F95-543F64A22026.webp8E084194-B3E2-4D3C-A84A-2A8628F6E1A4.webpBF624701-C64D-4B13-89D2-78BE780FCABA.webp6655E0C3-6E52-42E1-BA2A-DAAD417AF214.webp

I think that point was reworked into a preforator/drill type thing. Keep em coming!

Some nice finds I think it may have been a drill or perforator too ... cool looking that banded slate piece is interesting too

Umm, your not supposed to pour before it rains! Nothing worse than finishing under plastic. Hope it turned ok!

Nice the artifact hunting worked out really good!

Pleased to meet another concrete guy!

My boss is a character, we travel all over doing specialty concrete. Love him to death but his gumption often gets the better of him c

Specialty as in Decorative stuff?

Your boss must not have been burned to bad to many times. After 40+ years of practicing I have a lot of respect for rain.
