Ok, as I mentioned in my previous what’s in the Box thread, I was working on a smaller version of what you saw there.

I won’t drag this out, and will just post some pics and maybe explain this or that. I’ll answer any questions too of course.

Please keep in mind that this is THE definition of “cobbled together”. Literally everything came out of the scrap pile. Well… except the rivets. The rivets are new of course…and I did use a TON.

This is my new “Tranquility Fountain”

Also, if you’ve ever wanted to run Gold Hog mats on a “micro scale”, and turn around and run a micro Gold Cube w/ in minutes…and do it all on your dining room table… this is how to do it.

Here is the box in question:

The rack takes less than 5 min. to fully assemble:

Here it is set up as a power sluice:

I sort of call it a Micro Multi Sluice. I have a huge tub of mat remnants. Mostly Gold Hog stuff, but also some V-rib, and Vortex (Gold Cube mat). These are just the first few I made. (The V-rib tails are actually just dampeners the extend into the next Sluice)

Gold Hog Low Flow and Washer mats:

All the mats I currently have for it:

Since it’s only 1.5 inches wide it’s easy w/ a small pump to get sufficient flow. I can get 225 GPH/inch for the hog mats with any pump I have.
I can dial down to 100 - 125 GPH/inch for the Gold Cube mats and adjust pitch to 15 degrees.

No it’s not gonna mine the world, but it’s super fun to run inside without a big hassle, and it eliminates most panning.
