Whats it worth?

i was wondering if anybody knew if this would be worth anything.i doubt more than the 3 dollars i payed for it but. im thinking just cause the of the serial number. thanx

Check out ebay...there is a lot of people that love those type of numbers..You might be surprised but I know it would be more than what you paid for it.

Not sure exactly what you would get for it, but it would be more than $3 for sure... even if you sell it to a dealer instead of a collector.

The fact that it is an old red seal and star not alone would make it worth more than $3. The serial number helps even more.

no Nicky...a radar is the same frontwards and backwards....that particular bill...if it were a radar would be 0255-5520...see what i mean radar dollars are also refered to as mirror dollars....

Angelo - What you have there is a 1953 "series A" star note. It's definitely worth more than three dollars. Even though it has the "usual suspects" (fold marks), it should still grade at VF to EF. That puts the value in the range of about 15 to 40 bucks depending on the "grader/buyer". Unfortunately, the serial number won't really play a role as it is not a radar or anything else. A dealer will never give you what it's worth but if you collect coins as well, you can always use it to barter for other stuff. Very cool note regardless...

Its not a radar but it is a repeater. Go to ebay and look in the paper currencey section, then type in "repeater" and you will see a lot of them.
