What's the best beach scoop for diamond stud earrings?

What's the best beach scoop for jewelry and diamond stud earrings? Preferably one that is very sturdy and will dig deep.

If you have all the holes too small so they catch earring studs you get a lot of shells, rocks and junk which slow you down. I have settled on the Sunspot Stealth and this is a pic of the smaller one which I epoxied two magnets across the bottom to stop earring backs and studs from sliding to the larger holes and falling through and to grab small pieces of hairpins.

the magnets may pickup hairpins ,i find all of the studs that are worth looking for by hand sanding,listen for those faint singals..yes it is a pi machine HH

The Proofs in the Pudding.......

This is the scoop that I use, however I did not find these someone else did.

Hands down this scoop is the best for the small stuff. (IMO) The only way to do better is with a sifter with very small holes.

I use the Beach Brutte II scoop, I took the aluminum screen you cover gutters to keep out the leaves, cut a small piece to cover only the very bottom 1/4 of my scoop where it drains when I hold it. It has caught several earring studs, including 2 diamonds since I did this.........

Really you can use any scoop. If the holes on it are too big, put a screen liner inside. I've got a piece of gutter guard wire in mine and it works great.

I use the same thing, the bottom 1/4 of my scoop has gutter guard on it, I placed it where the sand naturally drains when I hold my the lift handle of my scoop, it has trapped several stud earrings including 2 diamond earrings.....

I agree as well the sunspot is a great scoop for catching small items. There are small holes in the front and some in the back....
