Whats this Indian Pot of Lightweight Material

Can anyone identify this Indian pot? Its made of a very light material...perhaps paper-mache? It is about 9 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches wide. The bottom reads A.M.-MEX then Lisa and following word I'm not able to make out. What is this?

Cool lookin. Somethin made for the tourist trade, I think. Hard to tell what that does say on the bottom. Where it came from might provide a clue though.
