What's this thing

Found this yesterday I was detecting in the woods in the middle of no where. While I was out of town to kill some time horseshoe and harmonica were my only other find other than a pile of bullets and shotgun shells any thoughts. Looks very old to me

I should have added it hollow all the way through with the little hole on the one end. It's made of lead

Are you sure it's lead? It look like part of a clay pipe stem.

I'm almost certain its lead came in 79/80 on the atp. It does look like part of a pipe stem must have been in the ground for a while to turn so white.

Maybe the tip of a musket ramrod? That high VDI makes me tend to think it is not lead, but some other alloy. Sub
