What's This!?

Heyyy everyone. I was taking a swim with my dog and found this rock. (He loves rocks, we were digging for them. Hahaha.) It's probably something super simple, but I know nothing about identifying rocks so I looked up forums on them and found this one.
The rock is pictured next to a miniature bic lighter.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Far from being a rock guy, but looks like granite maybe? Most likely a nice chunk of Leverite.
