Whats would you consider your most rare artifact.

Please post your piece if you have one.
For me, this ground arrowhead would be it. It’s not of a material strong eneough for a functional point, and was likely ornamental. Wish it had the tip. I often wonder if there wasn’t a suspension hole. There is no sign of one at the break tho.

The Bone Flute in the tray would probably be my rarest find, but the Effigy Pipe is right there with it. Both personal finds from the same site.

Amazing how a hollow bone with holes drilled into it could survived the elements so well.

The state archy nor some others of his type from the surrounding area have ever seen anything like it either.

Not positive but I think this was part of pendant either way only piece of drilled soapstone iv ever found so rare to me anyways

One of my favorites this is a rare find for me. Colorless Fluorite Charmstone, In hand it tings like crystal. Colorless is one of the more rare fluorite's. Its more geometrically shaped then it looks. The negative pic shows the contour better.




I also have found a rare artifact that i'm not sure many people are aware of it is called a phallic spike It is phallic on one end and spiked on the other and it's made of soapstone. I'll try to get some pics up.

This is by far one of the best artifacts that I've ever found. Some you fellows that have been here a while remember me posting it several years ago. For the newer members, I found this platform pipe in a creek here in Southwest Georgia. If you look at the back of the pipe you can clearly see that the buzzard is holding a human head. No imagination is required for this one. I don't think that I'll ever top this one.

By far one of the coolest artifacts iv ever seen .... great example of a true effigy that shows how skilled and capable they were would be good for people to study this before arguing that there natural rocks have faces in them
