What's your average frequency for different kinds of hits?

Inspired by CladSmoke's detailed post in his CRH Log thread regarding how many of each type of 5-cent he's gotten so far this year (http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/crh-logs/328081-cladsmoke-crh-log-12.html#post3258463), it got me wondering...

What is everyone's current averages for the denoms you go after the heaviest? I'm only first now becoming serious with the hunts so no averages calculated for me (yet).

Box 100 was toss together of CWR, $100 worth. Nothing to show except for a handful of 40s and 50s. No photo.

Here are my 100 box totals so far for the year (since 01-01-2013):

V Nickels: 2
Buffalo Nickels: 53 (date and dateless)
War Nickels: 67
2009 Nickels: 46

That is 3.77 Ounces of AG in $10K worth of nickels.
Averages per type found:
1 V nickel per $5058 searched
1 buffalo per $190.87 searched
1 war per $150.99 searched
1 2009 per $219.91 searched
Or 1 of any of these every $60.21.

Several more boxes and I'll be able to update that with my 200 box numbers. Should be interesting.

GC- solid finds on the war nickels. It's amazing you have only found 9 2009. I find that I get about the same ratio for buffs as 09s.

Thanks, guys! From the looks of things, I guess I have a long way to go (or should I say "spend") before I can hope to get some of these coins. :(

You get more barbers than walkers?

I think you must have read it wrong. After $21,655 searched, my numbers reflect that I find more Walkers than Barbers. So far, I've found 2 Bens, 3 Walkers, and 2 Barbers.

$3658 of cents searched

1 wheat per $2.17 (1,685 total)
1 indian head per $609.67 (6 total)
1 WAM per $243.87 (15 total)
1 1999 WAM per $1,219.33 (3 total)

15 WAM, including 3 from '99 - very nice!!! I haven't found any Indians or WAM yet but my Wheats seem to be along your rates.

You tryin' to sharp shoot me, Sag? ::) I'll just assume you were genuinely confused...either way, i fixed it. HH sleepy :sleepy2:

I only do customer rolls....no boxes. I probably go through $1000 a week average. I avg about a roll of 40% a week. This week only hunted 2 days and skunked yesterday and 3 40% and 3 franklins today. Some weeks I find multiple rolls worth of 40% and some weeks only 3 or 4 40%. I have only had one week in 3 years where I found nothing while actively hunting. I also have made some really great scores...like May 3 this year . $48 face in 90% and the week prior to that 12 rolls of 40% in a weeks period. But I also am able to hunt the entire state due to my job.

I also am able to hunt the entire state due to my job.

That makes sense now...I was wondering how you were able to consistently pull $1000 in CWR's every week. Good deal, man.

1 wheat cent for every $4.01 searched.
1 war nickel for every $88.45 searched
