wheat penny and first silver of 2015 found in Denmark, and now first silver of 2016.

My second wheaty found in Denmark, and finaly my first silver of the year. Silver coins are hard to find on the beach in Denmark. IMG_20150317_225806.jpg IMG_20150317_230143.jpg Swedish 10 ore 1877:hello2:

Thanks guys, it is just weird that a wheat penny from 1918 is hiding it self on a beach in Denmark. But it's nice to find one again. HH and good luck from Denmark.

Possibly dropped by a US serviceman right after the end of WW I. Looks like it's in nice shape.

That's possible, it's in pretty nice condition when you think about that it has been laying there for nearly a decade.

Sweet congrats on ur silver. I'm sorry to hear ur silver short. We have a lot of detectorists here in the US. So it's pretty much first come first serve then I show up and get what's left over lol. Great finds!!

Congrats on the wheatie & silver,,,
I would think that wind blown sand would have demolished that wheat penny if it was dropped close to one hundred years ago on a beach.
Maybe it was dropped recently by a U.S. tourist,, ahhh ,,, the stories these coins could tell:dontknow:

Hey guys, had to open this thread again. I went out to detect yesterday at another beach than the last one, and found my first silver coin of the year. The coin is the exact same coin as last year. 10 øre sweden age unknown, since it is very worn. I am from Denmark so it is quite a coincidence. Greetings to all and happy hunting.
