When They Say This...They Mean...

When they say that you're over-qualified for a job, they mean they don't want to pay you what you're worth.
When a politician says,"We have a shortfall in revenue income" they mean they have an over-abundance of revenue spending.
Anyone else have examples?

On Ebay referring to older collectable electronic items (like music keyboards):

"Untested"

It really means we tested it and it either made no sound or made some horrible sound, but if we state this, it will be less sell-able. If we say untested, we've covered our a**, and we know that you will bid thinking it probably will work because we didn't know what we were doing.
