Where can i find old maps of my local or histary of battle ?

You can also google history of your location lucky for me I have very good history in my area and areas around me Chester county PA. Hope my info helps
 
Sergey, one of the best resources is your local historical society. I got 1854 and 1876 maps of my county (reprints) for short money from mine. They are quite precise with the houses, farms, mills all identified by owners' names.
