Where should I start?

I am new to Metal Detecting and i was wondering where i should start searching at? Thanks, skins

First of all welcome to this great hobby. I think most of us start in our own yards, then head to playgrounds (referred to here as tot lots), then ball fields and parks. If you get lucky you want to hunt any private property that has older homes on it. Good luck!
