If your going to hide it for a long time or in damp conditions, maybe try vacuum sealing it. Then you should be able to hide it just about anywhere

If you are trying to hide it from thieves then you will need a safe and a good alarm system. If you think you can hide it from thieves you are fooling yourselve. Remember stealing is what they do 24/7.

Oh a good area (again if your not going to get it for awhile) is to remove a piece of trim from around one of your doors. Most modern
prehung doors will have a gap on one side or the other with shims. Stash near the strike plate so detectors will go off from that metal.
Put the trim back on and touch up paint if you have to.
Pretty good huh, lol.

I think you are better off hidding it since banks don't give you crap for keeping it in their vaults. If you hide it in your house you have to worry about a fire. Burry it, the elements. I really can't give you a good answer right now.

I should think to hide it by giving it to my wife; any time i hide it she finds it! --- so just give it to my wife, once she gets it she must do a better job at hiding it because I never see it again!!!!!!! well hidden. LOL hahahhahaha

i built a fake backing to my bookshelf to hide my allowence in it.for extra safty make the backing and bolt a safe down behind it.bolt it! or else if they find it ur mula is no more.

The best one so far is in the freezer in a block of ice wrapped in tin foil.
Another was a can of lard under the sink( law enforcement hadn't herd of that one eather) LOL

Just stuff it in the toe of an old , worn pair of work boots sitting out in plain site . No self-
respecting thief would bother work boots .

It all depends on who you are hiding it from.

1st thing that comes to mind is some place easily accessible, off your own property, where you can see if others are in the area.
