Where's the silver? UPDATED with pics
I got out detecting for a good couple hours yesterday to a friends house that had been quite productive in the past. I detected for about a half hour when he showed up and said I should do his neighbors down the street. Well, we walked down and the owner gave me permission. The house was built in 1916 and is very nice.
After a hour and a half i had 9 wheat to show for my efforts. I had only got about 1/3 of the yard down before mosquito's made me leave. I am going back now to check the rest of the yard and I just have a feeling that some silver will see the light of day today!
My finds included a junk ring with some turquoise on it. I gave that to the owner as well as a 1919 Wheat. I got to keep the others which were 1912, 1940-S, 1941-D, 1942-D, 1945, 1946, 1948, and a 1958-D. I also found that button in the pic. Any ideas if it is anything with that symbol?
I'm off to hunt. Good luck all and have a great day.
