i picked up two of these rolls from a Citi bank. I didnt want to ask for more, because i dont have a account. When ever I get asked how much do you want? If I reply with How much do you got? or some how imply A LOT. I get the question "Do you have an account with us?" which usually ends with me getting nothing. So i just say a few bucks or 20 bucks worth....

Those are the ones I get from Brinks.

the Yellow rolls are from Garda around here. All my pick up banks use Garda, and this brown roll was new too me. I would ask the bank directly, but i didnt want to ring the alarm bells. lol. Are those the ones that come in the cube boxes?

Yes Brinks 2 layer cube.

I used to get them from Garda about two years or so ago, haven't seen black-and-white rolls since.

From a general observation, most of the forum members seem to get those rolls from brinks, but there is no way to tell unless you ask the bank who they order their coins from.

So I went back to that citi bank and asked for half dollars, and found out they have 900$! I took 500, it was the cube box and a skunk. Went through the box at a local McDonald's. Took 11$ out for the blue folder. Went to a td bank to dump found those two boys sitting in the reject slot. Looked down the dump tray and noticed it was jammed up with change. Started penny up and shook the tray, then made my dump. In the end I came out of that bank with 497.38$ image.webp

I went to another td bank and picked up a box of dimes. I'm on campus now, and about to go over the box.

So you just sorted $500 worth of coins at a McDonald's? And you aren't worried about someone robbing you or following you?

Yep. I did it discreetly, and it was not that busy. Also I was up on the second floor. You guys gotta understand, I'm in mid town manhattan, it's a tourist and upper class area. A lot of people moving around, etc. besides thieves around here target iPhones and such.... Snatch and go, can't do that with 500$ in halves lol

Not a wise idea no matter how you look at the situation. Next time do it at home. :)

You guys think i had that box sitting out on the table and coins all layer out?

You think no one noticed it?

The only person that noticed, was the employee cleaning up around. He was probably thinking why is that guy counting those coins over and over? I was in the back of the place, in the corner. sitting at one of those bench tables, the box was by myside. I have one of those polyester bags i use for dumping. I took out one roll at a time and tossed the wrapper into the McDonalds paper bag, i had just finish my lunch. I looked like someone just was just finished eating and was counting coins. To anyone who saw me. My back was to a wall so I saw all who come and go. I only searched for dates the first half of the box, the rest i rim searched. I mean i understand you guys concern and stuff, but If i didnt know or feel like it was a safe place to do that. I would have never done it.

So, you know all the silver is in the $400.00 you left behind for someone else to find. Why didn't you go back after you dumped the $500.00 and get the $400.00?
