Hey guys!

Is there a site anywhere that gives a list of nickels that are considered to be "keepers"? Is there a year break where you want to keep everything earlier and re-roll everything after that date? And errors, is there a list of possible errors somewhere? I truly appreciate your expertise and willingness to share your knowledge.

Thanks,
Jay

V nickels
Buffalo nickels
1942-1945 nickels with the mint mark above the building are 35% silver
Some of us save pre 1960, or some just save ones with low mintage
You can also look for proofs which would have an s mint mark
Also look for errors.
If you would like a list of errors I can pm you.
Happy hunting!

Also the shield nickels!

A list of the errors would be fantastic.

spend $15 on REDBOOK available at any bookstore or coin dealer. best investment you can make for MD'ing and CRH'ing. everything (almost) you need to know. on another matter, just scored a 1790's home in port ewen on 1 acre, and you guessed it, nothing but a s%*tload of modern pennies. but we did get 2 mercs and a toy dump truck. Not all S mint coins are proofs.
