I am looking at purchasing a new underwater metal detector and I am torn between two of them. The Fisher CZ-21 and the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark 2. Any suggestions or advice would be really appreciated. Thank You!!! Jim
The best answer I can give you is copy your question "Which Underwater Detector to buy", and go to the top right corner of this page to the "advanced search" tab. You will find pages on the subject.
you should go to the Beach forum
Im a CZ21 user- it does the job for me but you want to make findsw like me you have to hit places like i do
and hunt my way which most dont or wont - I hunt in all metal and try to take it all out
I get a lot of old goodies with or under deep trash
the Sea Hunter was popular yrs ago
you might want to go with a minelab as one of your choices instead
make a post on the beach forum and see if there is someone in your area that has
a few water machines that might take you out and try a few or a dealer that might let you try a few - offer them dinner
or nice lunch
i own 3 cz21s if you were closer - id let you try one
pics in the Fisher catalog - lot of people think that is from one year ...some think its a life time
neither ... those finds are from 2 trips one trip to Fla. 26 pieces of gold in days
line of rings thru the middle - trip to Dom.Rep.
you tube ...check out older yrs - 2012 was one of my best
been detecting since 1975 age 12
Thank you Casper, I really appreciate your input... I am leaning toward the CZ21, did not know Minelab had one, I will check it out also. Thanks again!
