While dumping my first box of nickels from yesterday...

I went and asked the teller whether or not they had any half dollars or large dollar coins. He said that an older gentleman had deposited a roll of halfs and two large dollar coins earlier that day, but I might not want them because they were rather dirty. I said I'd take them anyway and it turns out 13 were 40% silver.

1 - 1966
4 - 1967
6 - 1968
1 - 1969

Afterwards I wen't over to my friend's house, who is also a coin collector, and when I showed his dad, he gave me a 1954 Franklin half! If that box of nickels wasn't enough to get me hooked, this definitely has!
