Is the material Mistassini Quartzite?
Mistassini Quartzite
I don't know what "point type" name to put on it, but: Made on a flake. Fairly large, very thin and asymetric strongly suggests a knife. Since it is also notched, a hafted knife.
I like Keithโs observations.
Itโs not the same, but there is a similar looking knife from the Southeast part of the US called a Waller knife. Usually made from a flake, broad hefting notches like yours, probably a handy tool when butching a kill.
Maybe an OTTER CREEK CLUSTER 6,000 4.300 BP ?
