Whites 4900D Coinmaster Professional Series

Hi..Just found a Whites 4900D Coinmaster in a pawn shop (just happened to be there) and it works great had a working rechargabvle battery and seperate battery pack and even came with the original instructions. My problem is that it seems this manual was written way above my head and I have been able to use it for coin shoots but want to use it for prospecting..Anyone have a set of settings I can just use to start with as Im not able to understand how to do it via the manual..Thanks
