Never mind as after reading the manual like 3 times i see what i call a coil its actually called a loop and its waterproof. Wow being new again after not having a metal detector for over 35 years is rough ..lol..
 

I'm glad you found the anser. White's has used the word "Loop" for years while most every other manufacturer uses "coil". You'll often see "Gain" & "Sensitivity" used for the same adjustment also. "Discrimination" is pretty well adopted but now Makro comes out with their detectors and they use "ID Filter". Hard to keep up with at times.
