whites fans I have a question

how is the whites mxt.I currently have a classic 5-id. Whit the classic 5 I hve found a 1701 farthing a Lc 60 silver coins and and nice relics. Book fisher has an mxt... Yes I go into his shop once in a while. After a few years with it he has found tons of colonials + my favorite a GOLD COIN!!!! I am gellous. but people tell me Im doing good for a newbe. lets just say I want to find a silver colonial.

Re: whites fans I have a question

I would stick with what you got, if you found the only 1701 Farthing ever minted!

Re: whites fans I have a question

It's not what detector you are using as much as LOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION,it has to be there to find it. :thumbsup:Other than that the M.X.T. is the bomb!!!

Re: whites fans I have a question

I will sell you a demo MXT... which has only been used in the shop... no field use..... no warranty.... 650 shipped

Re: whites fans I have a question

I have only heard good things about that White's Classic 5ID, a good machine, maybe just buy a new coil or two. The MXT is probably one of the most versatile machines out there as there are so many coils for every type of hunting and easy to use. I have an XLT, used it for several years, great machine. Good luck on your choice and HH, Mike

Re: whites fans I have a question

As was said it isn't so much the detectors as where it is used. The MXT is a nice machine, but on the wrong location it won't find coins that aren't there.

Why? Did people lose coins while fishing?
