White's M6 vs Garrett Ace 250

Which would be a better choice? White's M6 or Garrett Ace 250 for coin/jewelry
hunting primarily. I believe both are turn on and go machines. I live in the
Kansas City and hunt primarily in this area. Also, I might add that my choice
for a top of the line detector is the White's DFX. It's definitely in a different
league from the other two. I interested in any input concerning these two
detectors. Thank you for your help. Doug

Go with the M6 with a 6x10 DD or a MXT.250 can't keep up.

M6 with sniper 5.3 eclipse coil..excellent for trashy areas and fantastic for letting you get real close to fences and metal poles.
you have more options n control with the m6
You can beach hunt with it in the salt mode ( super easy)
its got a easy learning curve, and turn on and go.. much better then the ace 250

If you have the near $700 to spend on the M6...Keep looking around. You can pick up a good used DFX for that price.

Re: White's M6 vs Garrett Ace 250

if you have the money for an M6 dont get an ACE250. the ACE is a nice cheaper machine but with more money spent it can be easily beaten. not to take anything away from the ACE mind you, they are great............for around $200.

the M6 does NOT have a prospecting mode in case you want to.... excellent coin and most jewelry machine
