The MXT is an awesome detector but lets not tell too many people so there's still stuff left after they get done detecting for us to find. HH

Thank you all! No doubt, the MXT is an all time bestseller for a reason. Easy to use, but all the power you'll need and some! It's Tiger's go to machine; every once in a while he will swing something else, but always returns to his trusted MXT Pro. Happy hunting, everyone!

For some extra depth you usually get away running the gain at +2 just make sure its not running too noisy to hear those deep whisper targets, you might not always get +2 on the gain if in a high EMI area without it being too noisy for those really deep targets. It really depends on what coil your using as well, the little 4X6 DD coil will handle +3 gain without much noise at all. I like the relic mode myself and some say you get a little extra depth as well. HH
