White's offer a free copy of Understanding the DFX by Jimmy Sierra....

I saw an older post somewhere and wondered if it was still good, so I went to the following website last week..... and in my mailbox yesterday was the book!

Thank You White's. I have just finished reading it cover to cover, and I can truely say I understand how the DFX works and why it does certain things. This is pretty helpful since I got my DFX yesterday, too!

It's a very informative book. Especially for the new DFX users and at the price of free the deal can't be beat.

I went to White's site just after reading this post. I had seen another post about the free offer some time back, but thought the deal had expired. After reading this post, apx Jan 9th and filling out the form, I already got the book, even though it says on the form to allow 4 weeks for delivery. I got it Jan 12th. Now that is really quick. Thank you White's. I have a XLT and a MXT and have had numerous White's detectors in the past. Could there be a DFX in my future? Well, I guess I had better at least read the free book first. I do like White's detectors and I like their service.

I thought I would try to get a free copy also. Even though I have an XLT instead of a DFX just hoping to catch a little something out of it. Took only 4 days from the time I asked for a free copy until it arrived yesterday.

I read Jeff Foster's book when I got my DFX...but forgot everything I read.

This book seems a little more user friendly.

Well I have not read Jeff Fosters book, yet. But I will, very soon. Now that I have a much better understanding of the DFX, maybe the info in Jeff's book will take. I, too, have a problem with retention if I don't fully understand the basics.

I am glad White's is still honoring this offer and getting these books out to everyone lightning fast. Just goes to show that White's is committed to their customers and service, even if it is free, there is no delay in getting these books to us.
