On my vx3 when I use hand held pin pointer I put machine into menu mode no sound to headphones. Just bought MXT ALL PRO omg no easy way to get no sound to pro star headphone. Some day whites will put a on/off switch on them. my options: take em off ,No. Turn Both Volume controls off ,No. Touch threshold or gain , NO (re ground issues
) sunray probe will work for sure but I'm thinking something along these lines ( hope hyper links show up I been foxed if you know what I mean)
Mounting options hard mount, velcro, or something
1. Inline single channel volume control

1. Right angle cable plug I'm sure can be found anywhere
Update use this cable matches headphones

I think it will work hum in headphone when using handheld pinpointer just not gonna happen. thinking of getting a bigger knob for volume control ( less travel )turn toward coil back to work
Does anyone else not like sound in headphones when using a handheld pinpointer ? Any MXT/ PROSTAR headphone users come up with a solution
Plug cable into machine to volume control / plug headphones into volume control
