Well, after 56 years of swinging VLF’s, and a TR & BFO long ago, I finally took my first foray into getting a PI to augment my Sovereign Elite and new X-Terra Elite. Thanks to Mikeguard1 & OBN, I was able to pick up an OBN modded Surfmaster DF, my first PI. My digging arm already hates my Sov’s 12x10 & 15x12 SEF coils, so it’s probably really gonna hate this PI, lol.
Went on Garrett’s site and downloaded a user manual for the Dual Field. I was also curious about the PI Pro & PI but didn’t see manuals in Garrett’s archives. Just wanted to read through those manuals to see what the differences were for those PI’s.
So, after a bit of digging and searching, I was able to find user manuals the PI & PI Pro. If anyone else here has been looking for manuals for either the Surfmaster PI, PI Pro, or Dual Field, I figured I’d save you all a bunch of searching, so I’ve attached all 3 manuals to this post for convenience.
