Here's my review of the XLT since I've been using it this month alone:
Ben Franklin Half
Barber Quarter
1934 Washington Quarter
4 Seated Dimes
2 Half-dimes
8 shield nickles
1 buffalo
15-16 wheaties...probably a lot more
1 Canadian 1862 Comm dime
3 cent piece- no I got that with the exploder. sorry

Sterling Silver Boyscout ring.........
5.69 in clad
lol....lol.....lol.......so much for the well I took the detector out of the box and the first thing I noticed was...then i went to a pounded site and found a merc where many a man has swung his coil.......the 13.4 ghz vs the 16.9 khx is fascinating....I love what Company X did with the poindexter screw...........at 6.7812 pounds this detector is a winner....lol...lol.........
aloha johny mc..........all I want to know is will the dog hunt?! ........I'll update this review next month!
