Trick question right.
I can think of nothing else that clears my mind and makes my biggest problems disappear. As soon as I hook that detector to my arm and put on my headphones it's a different world that commands my attention. Every sound - size - shape talks a language that only me and my detector know.
If your new or maybe thinking about getting a detector go for it. It doesn't matter the cost of your detector as long as you can make that connection, and when you do it can be very rewarding.
I just got back from a hunt and feel "life is good", no great finds just some clad, very rewarding. Thought I'd pass that along
