They were worth 10 cents in MI, so if I found it, I turned it in!

We didn't collect them for money. We collected different types of beer cans and put them on shelves. They would usually be unopened. Anybody else collect rare beer cans when they were a kid?

No just bottles

I collected in HS in the local woods, under the boardwalk, and in my car until my father saw them one Saturday morning.

Growing up in south Florida we used to collect rare canned beers. Was this just a south Florida thing? I grew up in the 70s. Curious to know how many other people were into this. We would always try and get different types of beer cans from all over the world.

I had a friends brother collect them. Never forgot when he popped the hatch and reveled a trunk full of Coors. It was illegal to have that in Florida back then. Lol

As a youth we didn't pay much mind to the can as long as they weren't empty

My collection when I was a wee lad back in 1973 or '74?

We use to collect the old pull tabs on the cans and make stuff with them

I see you had a very rare collection everything is spelled backwards on every can. How did you find them all like that? ??? :icon_scratch: :happysmiley: :icon_thumright:
