Whole 1800's CS Weiss harmonica, Army Air Corp Wings, FD button, silvers, more!

I finally got out to an old spot, but went to an unconventional area with random filled areas. It was loaded with iron, modern clad, and junk by here's what I found. The Amy Air Corp wings are WW2 and Sterling. About 4" long.

The CH Weiss harmonica is whole, and the wood is completely rotted away. It's a "Brass Band" from the 1800's, from what I gather.

Steve, Nice FD button....I found two of those right next to each other earlier in the summer with rings through the shanks as if they were dropped off a card. Unfortunately all the gilt were off of mine. Rest of your finds are great too.

Those Pilots wings are beautiful. Congrats on some great finds.

Good day, Congrats :icon_thumright:

Scrappy , That is a righteous hunt !!! The quality of those finds is amazing , The wings are Awesome , mercs , the whole harmonica,
the multiple Indians - I'm stunned !!! Go Back There !!!

Looks like you had another good hunt. How many IHPs? Is that little straight piece an antique hair clip? May have been adorned with paste diamonds or such. I have never found more than 4 harmonica reeds, and never the whole instrument.

Those wings are awesome! I would wear those on a jacket if they were mine. Harmonica is cool too!

Nice finds, the WWII army wings are awesome, nice Mercs, and the harmonica is really cool I guess it's a little too old to have been played by Neil Young or Bob Dylan [emoji41][emoji450]

Congrats and happy hunting.

cool finds, I like the harmonica, very neat. whats that silvers 2563 and 2564 on the year?

Cool set of wings, getting the whole harmonica is very nice, I've dug a lot of reeds and have only dug one that came out in pieces that might of been complete.

Yep, that's the kind of hunt you go over and over in your head until you fall asleep, who needs sheep?

That button was in the ground a very long time judging from it's original condition. IP told me he used lemon to expose the gilding so I did. It looks like a different button.

I've actually never read a post with a whole harmonica to be honest. When I unearthed it I figured it was just the face plate until I pulled it out. Here's what it looked like before it was lost, sunk down 5", and the wood rottedImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1440149972.993320.webp
