Why my packages weren't scanning

I was using gray scale and ink save print, and the bars on the bar code weren't filling in. I took my package to the USPS franchise U-Haul place and it wouldn't scan. Then I took it to the PO and it wouldn't scan. They typed the numbers in. So, I guess I need to back off on the cheapness factor

If you want cheap, buy a used thermal printer.

I got yelled at once (USPS) to print the labels darker. Yeah, gotta get rid of the cheapness factor when printing up the labels.

Yes cheap is not the way to go with the USPS .. You are the one that will get screwed when your package does not get there.. I always go the extra mile when i print my lable and add a oz to the weight then there is never a worry..

They got there, just with no scanning anywhere in between. Irritates the buyers, who think I printed out a label and never sent the package. But so far, knock on wood, everything has been delivered.
