Wich too buy the FisherF2 or the Ace 250?

I know its sorta an older topic but i cant decide between the Ace 250 and the Fisher F2 at the 199.00 Range.Any Ideas wich is realy the better of the 2?

Owned and used both the Ace & the F2. I will take the F2 over the Ace any day. Much quicker response time/more accurate id'ing targets/doesn't have that annoying belltone/ just to name a few pluses the F2 has over the Ace. Steve.

I would definitely go with the ACE 250. It's made in the USA by Garrett which has been around for many years. They have excellent customer service. Garrett has sold literally thousands of ACE Series detectors. They have proven themselves time and time again. Just check out the Fisher forum and Garrett forums and make your decision from there. Well finally forked down the cash and decided on the Ace 250 based on the reviews and longer time out.Got a pretty good deal picked up from a local frys in Cali and they had given me a 50.00 gift cerificate because they have one of my tvs in repair and have taken forever to fix it .So got it new for 180 tax and all.The display menu is nice i like the Jewlry mode and relics mode .But not shure how acurate those modes are.Only got a chance to use like 45 min .Found some change. Dam coil is heavy makes machine a little heavy. But seems like an ok detector.Will update finds etx thanks for the advice guys.

If you like hunting coins, get the sniper coil for it. It makes all the difference in the world. Also get headphones that cover the ears, they help filter outside noise and let you hear weak signals.
