Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge today

Family going to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge today. Not going treasure hunting but with the wife and kids as a family outing. Will try to find an area though where tresure may be so I can come back. My 4 yr old has not seen a Buffalo yet so should be fun.

I don't see any pics yet NoNeck, but no matter. One of my most favorite spots in the world. I spent a lot of time camping down there, back when you could camp almost anywhere and not just Camp Doris. We slept on the ground and woke up one morning on Panther Creek with a buffalo herd all around us. They frown on treasure hunting there. Let us know what that 4 yr. old thought of it all.

My son so wanted to see the buffalo's and when he did he wanted out of there telling me to go and to roll up the window.



Here the buffalo was grunting like giving us a warning he stood there a while
