Left shortly after My Wife left. I went to an old house in Tahlequah that I’ve been trying to land permission to hunt for over 3 years. Pretty sure it’s been hunted before due to it being a very early and prominent home here.
I started on the right side towards the road but not past the old flower bed. Sounded like a machine gun😳 Lots of iron and trash amongst the signals. The first decent signal I got, that I dug, was a Nickel signal showing pretty deep.
I figured can slaw, but about 6” and I got a 1911 V Nickel! I was excited being My first target that I dug.
Well, about 15 minute later and I got a 1912 Wheat Penny. I still had hope. Almost 30 minutes after that and I got a tax token .
When I finished the yard I ended up with 3 tax tokens, the V Nickel, 1 Wheat, and a little clad. Also got a cool old lock with no writing on it at the edge in the weeds.
It had definitely been hunted pretty good. Can’t find it all!!! Thanks for Looking &
