Wild Sweet William

These grow wild around here. They came up on a pile of dirt behind my house that was not being used. Sweet William is a member of the Phlox family. Gary

Cool, it is great when the local wildflowers volunteer to fill spaces on your property !

Pretty lush a area there in Illinois, but boy did I ever have allergies that I remember from living there when I was younger. I lived in Villa Park and Kewanee in the 1960s.
