I own a Sand Shark and it works quite well in wet sand and underwater. The Tiger will to- it's what it was built to do.

Tiger and Stingray will "work" - Wont be efficient, but will "work". Get a Sand Shark for the Salt. Other 2 are best, if not the best, in fresh water.

Am considering using my F75 in the wet sand only... Would be great to be in the water with a detector though.

From what I have read in alot of posts here on TN, the Sand Shark is better for salt water and the Tiger for fresh water. Not familiar with the Stringray so can't comment on it.

My next addition will be a salt water machine also.

Sand Shark and Sov GT are both great in salt
