I have a fairly extensive coin collection. Also some currency. Now have a new interest in shipwreck coins after visiting Key West. Looking for someone willing to trade American coins for Atocha or Santa Margarita coins with the Mel Fisher certificates. 1715 fleet coins with certificates are also desired. Thanks!

Your negativity is showing. Bobby O did not suggest how many American coins(silver dollars?) he is willing to trade.

I understand the fascination mate! Why not sell some of your collection and purchase directly from the museums? Best of luck - post some pics as you obtain some of that sunken treasure! :skullflag: :occasion14:

Bobby, be very careful there are a lot of counterfeits out there. Make sure the Atocha coin has a Fisher tag and certificate. Every coin is numbered and you can verify the number and description in the database kept on-line by the Fishers.

Of course, you can't go wrong if you buy from the Fisher store.

EDIT: Here is a link to the Fisher artifacts database. Before you buy an Atocha coin from someone other than the Fishers, search the number and verify that the description matches.
