Will you guys look at this?

No doubt about it--it's a winner site.

I'd go slow and easy moving brush and logs if possible.

Personally, at a site like this I'd do a quick cover in discrimination mode (low) and then go all back over it and dig everything in all-metal or almost zero discrimination.

That site has great stuff but it's going to take time and work.

My first hard hit area would be that cellar hole, obviously.

I might suggest you make a hand drawn map of the area, and get a few rough measurements in there for relationship between key features...

Then keep a log with notes about what you find in the different spots.

The more detail the better, as you progress it will pay off...

Later, you'll want to know where you found most good stuff,
and you don't want to spend too much time in areas that don't produce.

Have fun !

I think that's going to be a real honeyhole, good luck and keep us informed

Hey hoss looks like you are going to need help there, try to make it to the library they should possibly have an old county plat book to show you exactly what you have there. Could be an old lumber camp thats usually what those kind of foundations are in the middle of knowhere up here in michigan.

You covered my only thought.... GPS all the way.

I hope you post your results because it looks like you'll do very well there. I'd like to have some sites like that but here we have to stick to the fields because it's too thick.

Looks good! I'd be digging anything that beeps! Good luck!
