When I thought my old site was pretty much cleaned out, it light up again. The other day I went back to the site and three early half pennies surfaced along with more sleeve buttons and other trinkets. This time another William 111 half penny came out. I can't see the date but the top of the bust going into the rim is the give away. It's 1695-1701. My new system works pretty well and I have to wonder what else is waiting to see daylight!

From an old copper-lover, this is a fabulous find! Older than any I have found by far (my oldest is 1738).

Some good finds there.

Nice coin. You don’t see King William coinage posted very often. Congrats!

Man I haven't dug one of those in a while! Nice find !!
