Well,.Sometimes ?
Hi all,Haven't been around T-net much lately,..well posting anyway . Just got a new laptop ,loaded a lot of images in it for editing . Found out that H.P. image zone is non compatible with the 64 bit op system ,which I find cheap easy to use on my windows X.P. desk top . So ,.. the question is "what would be a good replacement for me" ?
I'll advance my "Thanks" as I believe there will be no Wi-fi from Wed.-Fri,...let's face it ,..it's not much of a post ,with out a pic ! ......Blindpig

I think that the newer Hp laptops have corell draw on them you can open it and Select image on the top bar and resize it Chug!!! Havent tried it myself yet!!!

Thank's Chug , Yeah my new Toshiba & windows 7 has some editing capability, not as good as my O' H.P. image zone,..I think? :icon_scratch:
Bran <>< ,..thanks , good link to some great "free-ware".Sure look's like what I was ask'n for earlyer this week, :icon_thumright:
But,..Today I poped into Best Buy for a quick look ,and found "Photo Explosion Deluxe" by Nova on sell for $ 19.99 . So,.. I'm going to give it a try ,....comes with a 392 page "user-manual" ,...old school,.on paper!! This may work for me !?!?
Thank's again all ,... Joel

The Gimp is a free --- as in Nothing, Nada, Zilch --- image editing program that blows Photo Explosion (which I paid for) out of the water . . . IMHO, it's even better than Photoshop.

Interface is a bit different, but does excellent work.

Try it, you'll LOVE it!

Absolutely! I use it all the time. The public school systems here also use the Gimp.
