Will these winds in South Florida make any cuts further north on Treasure Beach? Could this be what we are waiting for? Wash away some of that beach renourishment? I guess we wait and see. Here is our weather forecast in Fort Lauderdale.

Rest of Today...Windy...cloudy. Chance of rain. Highs in the lower 70s. Northeast winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Tonight...Windy...cloudy. Rain likely. Lows in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

I went to Patrick yesterday looking around , took a walk on the beach and noticed that the water had made it almost completely to the dunes . The sand was pulled out somewhat but still alot is there. I also checked the tide report and today around 3:45 the report says the low is -0.2 . So maybe that will be good w/ the waterline further out . If anyone goes and has any luck , keep us posted !!!

Allright. We just need another 5 feet or so. Get that crappy sand off the beach! Problem is that it will probably wash back up after the storm. We need Cappy Z and his thixotropic research! Check the spots where the shells and rock are accumulating.

Hunted Patrick afb today. A ridge line on south beach gave up $3.00 in clad. The midbeach area was all fishing weights, the waterline had old style pull tabs and industrial junk.
