Got more snow last night but didn't amount to much. April's our third snowiest month, but not a lot so far and temps are reasonable. Went down to Chaffee County today and looked over Clear Creek Reservoir. Still iced over, but won't be much longer.

Drizzling rain most the day on the front range yesterday. I drove up to the Henderson mine at noon yesterday and all the plowed to the side of the road snow is melting and I saw pine trees piled up in mangled messes at some of the snow slide areas where those pines were 6 to 7 inches in diameter as that's how long they got to grow up to, before an avalanche came down and strip the mountainside clear once again. I believe all the irrigation ditches down here will be flowing pretty well this year. That'll make my dogs happy to see on those walks during the hot dry days. They love getting into that cool flowing water.

Awesome photos, thank you for sharing! :occasion14:
