WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR DETECTOR

Has anyone had any experience with using wireless headphones with their detector? I tried a set of SENTRY wireless phones and wasn't happy with them at all. Any recommendations on good working wireless headphones suitable for a Garrett GTI2500 detector that wouldn't be too expensive?

Hi again, my cousin did try them with with his White's dfx those did work great but for some reason it did not work well with his Garrett Ace 250. even with the volume cranked all the way up it was still low and scratchy. he tried all types of adaptors like Stereo to mono ect. we could not figure it out. and the picture makes the transmitter look small but it is really big.

Maybe they were dropped due to problems? I wrote to the guy and I'll see if he responds.

I don't like the idea of a big transmitter box.

Another thing to take into consideration is "does it have multiple frequency's" because like those Sentry ones they only have one freq. so only one person can use them when you go hunting. now bluetooth head sets have to be paired to the transmitter so only those two can communicate with each other. allowing other detectorist to use them with out interfearing with each other. My cousin and i have been trying alot of different types of units and so far bluetooth comes out ahead and as far as lag if there is any i do not notice it. bluetooth was mainly used for Real Time 2 way communication like cell phones, computer data transfer, and now in the GPS world for computer to GPS data communication. that would have to be fast. Well as my cousin and i test others we will post the outcome.
