I was wondering what is top of everybodys Wish List, I have read a few posts were people have said one of the Wish List I'v said it myself
So I thought I would start a post, you can have as many as you want, and what your chances are of finding them....I'll start

1.....Viking raven Penny.(good chance)
2.....Gold Saxon Coin.(any)(very hard)
3.....King Stephen hammered penny.(good chance)
4.....Roman Gold Coin.(Quite good)
5.....Pine Tree Shilling.(Very Slim chance)

#3. any old west firearm.

#4. anything Poncho Villa stashed

#5. 1 big gold nugget .....their all good but just once I'd like to find a monster.

#6. Jimmy Hoffa or Big Foot

I'll stick with just the ghost town I hunt:

1. The shot gun used to shoot a deputy sheriff back on the 1860's. The killer later claimed he hid it in the woods nearby.
2. His brother's hidden cache of money.
3. A map of the town! Thereby making some of my other wishes easier to come true.
4. Pictures of the town...only a few exist that I've found.
5. Anything belionging to my wife's family that lived there.
6. Privies. Locations of all of 'em.
7. Unbroken: anything!
8. To know where the church was and the school was..but that would go with the map.

Since I haven't had any real respectable finds, any decent find would be appreciated. I like BigDan's reply, sounds most intriguing. I would also love to hunt a good old ghost town, ther eis nothing like walking through a piece of history.

Oh....OK then

1 Gold Hammered.
2 Celtic coin.
3 Complete Saxon coin.
4 Medieval gold anything.
5 Roman gold coin.
6 Saxon brooch.

Maybe not in that order though

1. As I don't even have a metal detector yet, I would be happy to find an ordinary pre-1942 Swedish silver coin.
2. I would like to find the stolen church silver that is said to be buried near my grandparents place.
3. If I could dream it would be pretty neat to find an Arabic silver coin that were buried during the Middle Ages by the Vikings. Lots of them has been found in Sweden.

Thanks, I've been a member of TreasureNet since 2008 but haven't taken the leap and bought myself a detector yet. I have my eyes on a Minelab E-Trac though 8)
I looked up those Viking raven pennies, they look neat! Thousands of Arabic silver coins has been found on Gotland, but I think detectors has been banned there because of all the grave robbers. But a couple of Viking silver caches has been found like 2 hours drive from my birth town, so there's still hope for me

Sure, those would be just fine for me as well.

... the only thing is, I'd have to edit the chances to "Impossible" as I'm in western Canada.

Doesn't matter which country you hunt in, you should still have a wish list of finds from your area, like a Rare Trade Token or Rev, Button
