hi everyone.had a lot of rain on saturday and this morning.cleared about lunch time so i went to a place named YANKEE HILL.there was a mining camps on both sides of the creek.left handside the america miners and the other side cornish and welsh.this area had a 2nd gold rush started in 1865 and there was a third rush in the same area in 1899.there was also a trading post and general goods store on the site from 1865-1920.with all that rain made the ground soft and easy to work.found a few buttons 2 civil and 2 army[australian ww 1], a token 1862 [die sinker ..................... check token] 2 half pennies [english 1861 1911] barbers dime 1905 and 2 pennies 1861 but they seem to be joined together with a small copper rivet [no idea] and a few bottles and part of a lamp.took pics fo finds and a few of the area
